Our Youth Mentorship Program is committed to empowering young people to reach their full potential and become confident, disciplined, and purpose-driven leaders. Through structured guidance, mentorship, and positive reinforcement, the program supports personal growth, leadership development, and positive behavior in a safe and encouraging environment. With over 12 years of established service, the program provides consistent support to help youth develop the life skills and character needed to succeed in school, at home, and in their communities.

Meet the Founder & Program Director
Dr. Cheryl D. Knowles

Dr. Cheryl Knowles is an experienced and dedicated youth development leader with over 17 years of proven service working with young people throughout The Bahamas and the United States, across schools, communities, churches, and faith-based organizations, providing mentorship, leadership, character building, and empowerment. She is the Founder of Sapphire International Girls Network and the Young Distinguished Gentlemen Elite Program, and serves as the Program Director of the Youth Mentorship Program, all of which are committed to shaping confident, disciplined, and purpose-driven young leaders

Throughout her years of service, Dr. Knowles has worked with hundreds of young people, including at-risk teens, providing guidance, structure, and encouragement to help them overcome challenges, build resilience, and discover their gifts, talents, and God-given purpose. Her work in youth development focuses on equipping young people with the skills, mindset, and confidence needed to lead in their schools, communities, and future careers.

Known for her energetic and compassionate leadership style, Dr. Knowles creates a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where students are empowered to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and personally. Through structured mentorship, practical life skills training, leadership coaching, and positive reinforcement, she inspires young people to believe in themselves, make wise decisions, and pursue a future filled with purpose, responsibility, and positive impact.

Her mission is to guide, inspire, and equip the next generation to discover their potential, walk confidently in their God-given purpose, and lead with strong moral character, confidence, and excellence


Program Overview

The Youth Mentorship Program is a (12-week) virtual program that meets once per week in a small group setting. Sessions are interactive, engaging, and development-focused, allowing each student to receive personal attention and meaningful support.

Format: Virtual
Duration: (12 Weeks)
Sessions: Once Per Week
Enrollment: Limited to 10 Students Per Age Group (Ages 8–12 and 13–17)


Program Dates

Registration Closes: Saturday, May 23rd, 2026 or when seats are filled

Program Start Date: Saturday, June 6th, 2026

Program End Date: Saturday, August 29th, 2026


Age Groups & Session Times

Each group is intentionally limited to 10 students to maintain a personal and effective mentorship experience.

Ages 8–12
Ages 13–17

SATURDAYS | Ages 8–12 | 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

SATURDAYS | Ages 13–17 | 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Graduation / Recognition Ceremony

At the conclusion of the program, students will participate in a special Graduation and Recognition Ceremony to celebrate their growth, commitment, and achievements throughout the mentorship journey.

During this ceremony:

  • Students will receive a Certificate of Completion
  • Special recognition awards may be presented
  • Parents, families, and friends will be invited to celebrate
  • Students will be acknowledged for their progress and participation

Our highest level of support, providing additional personalized guidance and accountability to help each child stay on track and reach their full potential.

Enrollment Information

Spaces are limited to maintain program quality and personal engagement.

Attendance & Participation
Regular attendance is important for student growth and program success. Students are expected to attend sessions consistently and participate respectfully. Fees are based on enrollment in the program, not attendance. Missed sessions are not refundable, creditable, or transferable.

Communication
All program updates, reminders, and important information will be shared through the official parent communication channel (email and/or WhatsApp). Parents are encouraged to maintain active communication to ensure students remain informed and prepared for each session.

Technology Requirements
Students must have access to a reliable internet connection and a device capable of participating in virtual sessions (computer, tablet, or smartphone). Cameras are encouraged to remain on during sessions to support engagement and participation.

Student Conduct
Students are expected to demonstrate respectful behavior, active participation, and a positive attitude during sessions. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from a session or dismissal from the program if necessary.

Parent Partnership
Parents and guardians play an important role in supporting student success. We encourage parents to reinforce program values at home and communicate any concerns promptly to program leadership.
